FAQ

Inclusion is the practice of valuing the unique experiences and contributions people have to offer. Inclusion recognizes that the most growth happens when these unique contributions are encouraged and supported.

At the JCC, Community Inclusion programs and services is our ongoing commitment to create the conditions for inclusivity to thrive in a way that connects, respects, and values all members of the community.

Our intake form gathers demographic and emergency contact information. We also use the information from the forms to create supports that may make an activity more accessible for an individual. All forms are kept confidential.

No, currently individuals are not required to have a JCC membership as we have a guest rate for activities. However, the guest rate is at a higher price point.

Currently, individual social and recreational classes at the JCC are not covered through an individual’s DDD budget. However, gym membership can be covered under Good & Services within an individual’s DDD budget. To make this applicable, it must be organized and preauthorized with an individual’s support coordinator and a JCC representative.

All our classes can be found on our website, and registration is on-line. All new participants will be required to fill out an Intake form. If you need assistance with registration or the Intake form, please contact Matt Lever at 856-424-4444 x 1247 or email mlever@jfedsnj.org

Currently, we do not have in-house DSPs or one-on-ones. We encourage any participant who may need assistance to bring a family member or care person with them to our classes and the gym.

Currently, we do not provide transportation to JCC activities and events. Our members do take private car services or contact Access Link. https://accesslink.njtransit.com/#/auth/signinregister

In observance of Rosh Hashanah, the JCC will close at 3:00pm on Wednesday, October 2nd, and will be closed on Thursday, October 3rd and Friday, October 4th. We will reopen at 7:00am on Saturday, October 5th.
